Jeff Cogen has been an in-demand professional drummer since 1983.  His vast experience has included wedding, corporate, Blues,Rock.  Jazz and Latin-style bands.  In addition to his performing experience, he also offers private in-home drum instruction to a selected set of students.

This private instruction to all ages, includes rudimental snare drum, drum set application, and rock, jazz, marching, funk, and Latin styles. Jeff constantly stresses improvisational concepts, theory, reading, and performance. He also provides opportunities for students to learn through the use of both proven instructional materials and their individual interests, allowing them to play in their concert, jazz, marching, and rock bands. In addition, he maintains a substantial inventory of instructional materials and percussion components for students learning needs
